Scenes from Cape Cod: Fall in Chatham
Chatham is one of my go-to places whenever I’m down on the Cape. The Main Street, or “Downtown,” has New England charm written all over it. Local boutiques, gift shops, restaurants, and more stretch for nearly a mile long. My mom and I love popping into Yankee Ingenuity (funky crafts + gifts), Fisherman’s Daughter (an eco-friendly shop that sells everything from earrings to air plants), Chatham Cookware (for a snack + a cup of coffee or lunch), The Mayflower (our favorite home store), Mark August (think beachy crafts meet home furnishings), Soft As a Grape (purchased my favorite Cape Cod sweatshirts here), and Tale of the Cod (gifts + home goods). The Chatham Bars Inn is also close to downtown Chatham, probably a 10-15 min walk & 2 min drive. This hotel is extremely well known and situated on a beautiful property overlooking the ocean. I personally love walking around the hotel property & the surrounding area. The houses are insanely gorgeous, and it’s impossible to lose sight of the ocean. What’s not to love?
